Terms
Last updated October 8, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Date Your Coworker (“we”, “us”). By signing in, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
The joke, and the app
Date Your Coworker is a dating app with an office-paperwork sense of humor. The forms, stamps and “HR” language are part of the bit. We are not your employer’s HR department, we’re not affiliated with or endorsed by any company named on the site, and nothing here is workplace, legal or HR advice.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must sign in with a work email address that belongs to you.
- One account per person. Don’t impersonate anyone.
- You’re responsible for following your employer’s policies. Whether coworkers can date is between you and your employer.
How to behave
Don’t use Date Your Coworker to:
- harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone, at work or anywhere else;
- keep contacting someone who has passed, hidden, blocked, unmatched or asked you to stop;
- share someone else’s messages, photos or profile outside the app;
- post nudity, sexual content involving anyone under 18, hate speech, or anything illegal;
- post photos of someone other than you, or content you don’t have the rights to;
- advertise, solicit money, or spam;
- scrape the app, probe it for weaknesses, or get around its limits.
Every profile and chat has a Report button. Reports go to a person. We can remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us a limited license to store it and show it to the coworkers the app shows you to, only to run Date Your Coworker. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Safety
We don’t run background checks or verify anything beyond your work email. Be careful meeting anyone, including someone you work with. If someone makes you feel unsafe, report them in the app, and contact the police if you’re in danger.
Copyright (DMCA)
If you believe content on Date Your Coworker infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- where the infringing content is in the app, in enough detail for us to find it;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Designated agent: Copyright Agent, Date Your Coworker, hr@dateyourcoworker.com.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the details required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We disable the accounts of repeat infringers.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. What happens to your data then is in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
Date Your Coworker is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you’ll meet anyone.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the conduct of anyone you meet through the app, online or off. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and say so in the app if a change is significant. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
